Thanks for checking this out. This is the rarest of all Hockney books: a. Deluxe edition of "Paper Pools, " with blue canvas covers, hand-signed by David Hockney and stamped number 872 of a limited edition of 1,000, published by Thames and Hudson in 1980. Nearly impossible to find in any condition, this book is in BRAND NEW condition, the pages still crisp and white, as you can see! However, the slipcase is stained in one spot and has sun damage and shelf-wear.

It served its purpose of protecting the book, I guess. It no longer includes the lithograph that originally came with it. The end papers were specially prepared by Tyler Graphics, with whom Hockney collaborated for the Paper Pools paintings, and are of handmade paper. Once again, thanks for stopping by!
