4 of 5 2008 Members (Maria Brink, Chris Howorth, Jesse Landry, and Jeff Fabb). Chris Howorth Signature Caterpillar Guitar Pick. 4x6 Personally Captured Photos From The Event! This has been one of my most prized pieces of memorabilia I've had the great opportunity to share with friends and visitors.
October 6 2008, Danville, Virginia - A once thriving Industrial Mill town, reduced to crime, drugs, and teenage/misguided adulthood angst sets our scene. Plan B was a venue what one could describe as the best intention with what was available. " Prior locally owned venues had been shut down due to a large list of things, so this was one's " Plan B. I can only imagine the internal disappointment when the bands pulled into the parking lot. There wasn't much to do inside either until the music starts, concessions where minimal but I remember standing there, alone waiting to strike up a conversation with anyone to pass the time, and in they walk.
The whole mood changed, especially when we heard they were actually going to stay and play! While this converted vacuum store, (half standing, and surely omitting smells of cheap paint, dried beer, and we never could quite figure out that last smell) may or may not have been disappointing for those on tour, tired and on their day off, mid-travel from Ohio to Pennsylvania, EVERYONE THAT NIGHT PLAYED THEIR A OFF!Really made a fan out of me, and certainly a memory I won't soon forget, however they were able to make this show happen. Not only did a few of us local kids get to chat with ITM before the show, I was fortunate enough to get one of these before the other few were distributed for a (we begged and they said they would come back) quick signing before they went on, hence the missing Blake Bunzel signature.
And to top it all off, was able to get an event used guitar pick from Chris Howorth, and the moment captured in a picture. Now almost 16 years later, I offer one of the MOST RARE ITM Autographed Flyers I believe to be in existence. If you're still reading this I really appreciate it, and hope if this piece is right for you that its history and rarity will live on for the amazing show of artistry in humanity it truly was. Thanks so much for taking a look.
