1st LETTERED hardcover edition, quarter-bound in leather from Underwood Miller, 1994. SIGNED BY JACK VANCE AND ARTIST GEORGE BARR. "P" of 52 such numbered copies.

NEAR MINT in NEAR MINT slipcase, no DJ, as issued. This item was stored in a glass-covered lawyer's bookcase in a non-smoking house in temperature-controlled room with no sunlight. This limited edition seldom comes up for sale; it's a real rarity, especially in this condition.

This copy has literally never been cracked, let alone read, except to photograph the signature page. Honestly, unless someone has a shrink-wrapped version, this is the best, most pristine copy you will ever see offered for sale. For comparison, #LL of this edition e. I'm retiring, downsizing and moving out of the country.

As much as I treasure my collectible books, it's time to let other enjoy them.
