Here is the Holy Grail of Louis Vuitton collectibles, short of a signed photo, for you serious Louis Vuitton collectors!!!!! An original 1890 Louis Vuitton store invoice signed by the founder Louis Vuitton. This was acquired in New England in a large collection of European paper collectibles from the same époque which included documents, letters and a lot of hotel invoices from a number of countries like France, Germany, Austria, England, Spain and Belgium. 10 15/16" x 9 1/8". This is only the third signed Louis Vuitton invoice I have ever seen in my 38 years of collecting LV trunks and memorabilia. One was in an exhibit by Louis Vuitton at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2016. This rare historical item should be in a museum. Or preserved in a 19th century style gold leaf frame and on the wall above your collection of LV trunks. Sale to the US only. You may never see another one of these invoices.
