VERY RARE - SNOW WHITE HEART BOX LIMITED EDITION. Mixed-media handmade artist replica of the Evil Queen's Heart Box, inspired by its appearance in Walt Disney's. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Animated film (1937), and released to commemorate the opening of The Walt Disney Gallery. The Heart Box is hand-crafted from hard wood and composite wood featuring a bright red hand-applied lacquer, accented with four (4) hand-made glass tile panels inset on each side panel, hand-shaped polished metal Heart, Quillon and removable Dagger which form a functional latch, plated in 24 karat gold and studded with three (3) hand-set lapis lazuli cabochon stones, four (4) hand-shaped polished metal feet plated in 24 karat gold and two (2) brass hinges. The interior of the box is lined with deep golden colored velvet and features two (2) gold-tone polished metal chains and two (2) black velvet pads. Numbered Limited Edition of 400 boxes and 40 artist proofs (the box pictured is #145/400).
